오히려 당혹해하고 있는 형편입니다. <br></span><span style="background-color:inherit;"><br></span><span style="background-color:inherit;">트럼프의 이같은 움직임에 대해 '명분쌓기'로 보는 경우도 많습니다. 의회정치의 힘이 강한 미국에서 트럼프의 강공은 결국 의회에 의해 막힐 것이고, 트럼프로서는 자기의 핵심 지지자들에게 '내가 이 정도는 했다'고 말할 명분이 필요하다는 것이지요. <br></span><span style="background-color:inherit;"><br></span><span style="background-color:inherit;">물론, 트럼프의 TPP 탈퇴 같은 것은 오히려 중국의 역내 입지를 강화시키고 일본이 패권을 잡고자 했던 의지를 약화시키는 결과를 초래하긴 했습니다만, 그는 최근 우리나라와 한미동맹을 강화하고 협력을 다 하겠다는 메시지를 내면서도 뒤로는 한국산 화학제품에 덤핑 관세를 매기는 등 이중적인 행태를 취하고 있습니다. 이런 알 수 없는 트럼프 정권의 행보 속에서, 과연 우리가 어떤 식으로 국익을 지켜 나가고 올바른 판단을 해 나가야 할 것인가의 문제는 중요합니다. <br></span><span style="background-color:inherit;"><br></span><span style="background-color:inherit;">이 때문에 지금 미국에 무조건 사대맹종하는 식의 외교로는 우리의 국익을 제대로 챙길 수 없습니다. 미국과 전략적 파트너임을 인정하면서도 우리의 국익을 실질적으로 챙길 수 있는 유능한 정권이 우리에게 필요한 때입니다. 안보라는 것을 편협하게 남북 대치상태로만 파악하려고 하는 지금의 프레임을 깨고, 우리가 동북아 정세에서 '미국에 의해 주어진 역할'이 아니라 당당한 주권국가로서 플레잉 롤을 갖출 수 있는, 그런 외교 정책을 세울 수 있는 정권이 우리에게 필요한
