토대로 이번 광화문 집회를 바라봤습니다.</p> <p style="margin:0px 0px 1em;padding:0px;">“난 의경 출신이다. 자대에서 처음 겪은 시위는 광우병 촛불시위였고 평택 쌍용자동차, 화물노조 파업 등을 거쳤다. 2009년 대전 법동에서 있었던 시위가 가장 인상에 남았다. 죽창이 날아드는 경험을 하면서 많은 것이 변했다. 아마 시위 전 자살한 노조원이 있어서 시위가 격화된 모양이라 이해가 됐다. 나도 동지가 그리 되었다면 그렇게 되었겠지.”</p><figure style="margin:0px auto 12px;"><img height="360" style="margin:0px 0px 1em;padding:0px;">이씨는 당시 법동 시위에는 만명이 참여해 시위대 모습도 각양각색이었다고 했습니다. 의경을 보호하는 아저씨들도 있었고 죽창을 내리치며 욕 하는 사람들도 있었다고 하네요. 시위대끼리 다투기도 했답니다. 그는 만명이 모인 시위도 이러니 10만명이 모인 시위는 필연적으로 다양한 모습이 있을 것이라고 강조했습니다. 즉 어마어마한 군중이 있으니 다양한 모습이 있었을 테고 이 때문에 합법과 불법의 경계를 느끼기 힘들다는 것입니다.</p> <p style="margin:0px 0px 1em;padding:0px;">“순간을 포착한 몇 장의 사진, 짧은 동영상, 알량한 법규정을 들이대며 ‘평화적으로 하라’는 메시지를 던진다. 내가 보기엔 그건 팩트가 아니다. 취사선택된 것만 있을 뿐. 시위가 던지려는 메시지보다 방식과 외연에만 천착한다.”</p> <p style="margin:0px 0px 1em;padding:0px;">그는 시위대의 특정 방식을 문제 삼지 말고 10만명 이상이나 되는 시위대가 왜 모였는지부터 알아야하는 것 아니냐고 주장했습니다.</p> <p style="margin:0px 0px 1em;padding:0px;">“시위의 요구는 다양했지만 기본적으로 국정교과서 이슈와 노동개혁에 대한 문제가 큰 줄기를 차지한다. 이 메시지는 간단명료하다. ‘니네 마음대로 하지 말고 우리 얘기 좀 하자’는 것이다. 그 메시지를 이해하고 고민해야지 10만명 중 일부가 보인 모습에 천착하는 건 사람을 제품으로 보는 듯해 불편하다.”</p> <p style="margin:0px 0px 1em;padding:0px;">이씨는 아울러 “10만명이 자발적으로 모인 것 자체가 자유의 상징”이라면서 “그런 현장에 차벽을 치고 물대포를 직격으로 쏘다니. 시위대가 먼저 폭력을 행사했다고 비난해선 안 된다. 군중 머릿수만큼 다양한 목소리가 나오는데 그 목소리를 한올한올 따다 종북이네 빨갱이네 하는 건 새치 한 가닥 있다고 넌 흰머리가 되었다고 하는 거랑 같다”고 꼬집었습니다.</p> <p style="margin:0px 0px 1em;padding:0px;">그는 끝으로 “헌법에서 집회결사의 자유를 보장하고 있다. 집회결사는 약자가 강자에게 대항하는 강력한 수단이지만 그 마저 강자들이 만든 법규의 테두리 안에서만 행해져야 한다면 우린 이걸 자유라고 부를 수 있는가”라며 “소통 없이 자의적으로 해석한 자유라는 옷을 입히고 넌 자유롭다고 말하는 건 오만하고 불쾌하다. 난 어제(시위 당일) 그 시간에 놀고 있었다. 스스로가 너무 부끄럽다”고 적었습니다.</p> <p style="margin:0px 0px 1em;padding:0px;">이 글은 인터넷에서 큰 공감을 얻었습니다. 게시 만 이틀만에 3750여건의
