[email protected] 2013-08-05</span></dt></dl></div><br />정홍원 국무총리는 김 비서실장의 경남중 후배이자 검찰 근무 당시 상관으로 보좌한 사이로 친한 사이였다고 한다. 일각에서는 사법시험 18기수 후배인 정 국무총리(사시 14회)를 박 대통령에게 추천한 사람도 김기춘 비서실장이었던 것으로 전해졌다. 황교안 법무부장관도 김 비서실장의 도움이 컸다는 것이 정치권의 평가다. <br /><br />또한 김 비서실장의 사위인 안상훈 서울대 교수 역시 박 대통령의 당선인 시절 인수위에서 고용복지분과 인수위원으로 활동할 만큼 인연이 남다르다.<br /><br />때문에 7인회 멤버 가운데 김 비서실장의 역할이 가장 활발한 게 아니냐는 말이 나올 정도다. <br /><br />이밖에 박정희 전 대통령 시절 청와대 출입기자였던 안병훈 전 부사장은 유진룡 문화체육관광부 장관과 서울고 선후배 사이다. 안 전 부사장과 유 장관은 각각 서울고 9회와 27회 졸업생이다.<br /><br />7인회의 좌장으로 불리는 김용환 전 의원은 지난 대선에서 한광옥 전 민주당 상임고문이 박근혜 캠프에 합류하도록 다리 역할을 한 것으로 알려졌다. 현재 한 전 고문은 국민대통합위원회 위원장직을 맡고 있다.<br /><br />이처럼 '7인회'가 정국주도세력으로 전면에 등장하면서 차기 개각에서 이들이 국정운영의 전반에 직접 나설 것인지에 관심이 쏠리고 있다.<br /><br />한편 이들에 대한 관심이 높은 만큼 김 신임 비서실장의 발탁을 둘러싼 논란도 예상된다. <br /><br />그는 법무부장관 재임 시절인 1992년 12월11일, 부산 지역 기관장들을 모아 여당 후보를 지원하는 내용을 모의해 이른바 '초원복집' 사건으로 기소되기도 했다.<br /><br />김 비서실장은 당시 부산경찰청장과 안기부 지부장 등 부산지역 기관장들과 함께 당시 김영삼 대선 후보를 당선시키기 위해 대책회의를 열었는데 야당 후보였던 정주영 후보 측에 도청, 사건의 전말이 공개되고 말았다. 그러나 이 사건으로 오히려 김영삼 전 대통령의 총애를 받아 검찰총장과 법무부장관, 3선 국회의원을 지내는 등 승승장구했다.<br /><br />특히 그는 2004년 3월12일 국회 법제사법위원장으로서 노무현 대통령을 탄핵을 적극 주도했으며, 당시 탄핵심판시 일종의 검사역할을 했다. <br /><br />민주당은 김 비서실장의 과거 행적에 대해 "MB(이명박) 정권 때의 6인회 멤버들의 비극적 종말이 재현되는 것이 아닌지 우려된다"고 혹평했다.<br /><br />민주당 김관영 수석대변인은 이날 청와대 인선 직후 기자회견을 통해 "(김 비서실장이) 국회의원 시절에는 한나라당 법제사법위원장으로서 노무현 전 대통령 탄핵을 주도했고, 1992년 14대 대통령선거를 앞두고 지역감정을 조장했던 유명한 초원복집 사건을 주도했다"면서 "과거에 많은 공작정치를 한 사람으로서 엄중한 정국상황에서 불에 기름을 끼얹은 꼴이 아닌지 우려스럽다"고 지적했다. <br /><br />[email protected]<br /></div></div></td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table>
