If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. 
The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. 
I will dispense this advice now.

But trust me, in twenty years, you will look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now, how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. 

아름다운 당신의 젊음을 즐기세요. 지금 이런말 귀에 잘 들어오지도 않겠지만, 당신의 젊음이 사라지게 되었을때 깨닫게 될겁니다.
당신이 얼마나 아름다웠다웠고 얼마나 많은 기회를 가지고 있었다는 것을.. 
제말이 맞다니깐요. 20년후에 지금사진을 보면서 꾸미지 않아도 얼마나 빛이났는지 깨닫게 될겁니다.

You are not as fat as you imagine. 

당신은 당신이 생각하는것 만큼 뚱뚱하지 않아요.

Don't worry about the future or worry that know that worrying is as affective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind. The kind that blindsides you at 4 PM on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you

Don't be reckless with other peoples' hearts; don't put up with people who are reckless with yours. 

다른 사람의 진심을 무시하지 마세요. 그리고 다른사람이 당신을 무시하는것도 참지 마세요

Floss.

치실질 하세요.

Don't waste your time on jealously, sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. 
The race is long and in the end, it's only with yourself. 

질투로 시간을 낭비하지 마세요. 어떤날은 걔가 앞서고 어떤날은 내가 앞서고 인생은 마라톤과 같습니다.
결국 경쟁자는 내 자신 뿐 이죠.

Remember compliments you receive, forget the insults. 
If you succeed in doing this, tell me how. 

정말 쉽진 않겠지만
칭찬받은건 두고두고 기억하고, 모욕당한건 그냥 잊어버리세요. 

Keep your old love letters; throw away your old bank statements. 

추억이 담긴 연애편지는 고이 간직하세요. 그리고 옛날 통장 내역은 버리세요.

Don't feel guilty if you don't know what to do with your life. The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't.

내가 알고있는 멋진 사람들 중 22살에는 자기가 뭘 해야하는 지도 몰랐고, 심지어는 40살 까지도 몰랐던 사람들도 있답니다.

Get plenty of calcium.

칼슘을 충분히 섭취하세요.

Be kind to knees, you'll miss them when they're gone. 

무릎을 아끼세요. 망가지고 나면 후회해도 소용 없어요

Maybe you'll marry, maybe you won't. 
Maybe you'll have children, maybe you won't. 
Maybe you'll divorce at 40, maybe you'll dance the "Funky Chicken" on your 75th wedding anniversary. 
Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either.
Your choices are half chance, so are everybody else's.

Do not read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

패션매거진따위 읽지 말아요. 당신이 못났다고 느끼게 만들 뿐입니다.

Accept certain alible truths: prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old and when you do, you'll fanaticise that when you were young, prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders. 

현실을 받아들여야 합니다. 물가는 계속 오를것이고, 정치하는것들은 그대로일 겁니다. 언젠간 당신도 나이를 먹겠죠. 
그땐 그런말을 할겁니다. 예전엔 물가도 저렴했고 정치인들도 지금 보단 차라리 나았다고. 
그리고 요즘 애들 버릇없다고.

Respect your elders.

어른을 공경하세요

Don't expect anyone else to support you. 
Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you'll have a wealthy spouse but you'll never know when either one will run out. 

누구도 당신을 끝까지 보살펴 주지 못합니다. 
노후자금이 빵빵하다거나 돈많은 배우자가 있다면 좀 달라질 수 있겠지만 그것도 한순간에 사라질지 모르는 일입니다.

Don't mess too much with your hair or by the time you're forty, it will look eighty-five.  

머리염색 심하게 하지 마세요. 마흔에 여든처럼 보일 수 있습니다.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.

남의 조언은 가려가면서 들으세요.  하지만 일단 듣기로 했다면 주의깊게 들으세요

Advice is a form of nostalgia.

조언은 그 사람의 그리운 추억  같은 겁니다.

Dispensing it is a way of wishing the past from the disposal , wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling for more than it's worth.

지금 이 조언도 나의 과거라는 연못에서 건진 추억의 조각들을 예쁘게 매만져서 맞춰놓은 거에요.

But trust me on the sunscreen.
