line-height: 1.5; font-size: 10pt;">패밀리가 비록 8비트 게임기이기는 하나 사실 전설적인 게임이 많았다. ‘스퀘어’의 파이널 판타지 시리즈도 그렇고 ‘에닉스’의 드래곤 퀘스트가 좋은 예다. 이 둘은 나중에 게임계의 큰 획을 긋는 대작인데 이후로 계속적으로 시리즈가 출시되어 전설을 계속 이어나갔다. 이처럼 잘 찾아보면 대작의 시초이거나 괜찮은 작품이 패밀리에 많았는데 특히 ‘게임은 협동이다’를 보여준 작품이 있으니 바로 ‘열혈 시리즈’였다.</span></p><p style="border: 0px; color: rgb(99, 99, 99); font-size: 12px; background-color: rgb(248, 246, 249);"><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; line-height: 1.5; font-size: 10pt;">패밀리를 가졌던 유저라면 한번쯤은 해봤을 정도로 유명하고 패밀리의 대중적인 게임이었다. 일단 친구와 함께 2인 협동 플레이가 가능했다는 점은 우리들이 열광하기에는 충분했다. 물론 기존에 2인 플레이가 되는 게임이 없던 것은 아니다. 하지만 2인 플레이기는 하나 먼저 게임을 하는 사람이 죽으면 다음 사람이 이어 받는 식의 게임이 많았다. 2인용이기는 하나 협동적인 모습은 없던 것이다. 물론 전설의 슈팅게임인 ‘트윈비’나 ‘배틀시티’ 같이 게임이 있긴 했으나 협동이라 긴 보단 같이 한다(?) 정도의 느낌이었다. 같이하는 친구가 적의 총알을 피할 수 있게 도와 줄 수는 없으니 말이다. 하지만 열혈 시리즈는 찐한 우정을 체험할 수 있기 충분한 작품이었다.</span></p><p style="border: 0px; line-height: 1.5; font-size: 10pt;">개인적인 생각으론 쿠니오와 리키가 제일 후졌다. 웬만하면 주인공이 제일 쌜 법도 한데 별로 특징도 없고 그렇다고 멋있는 것도 아니었다. 그래서 게임을 하면서도 거의 골라본 적 없는 비운의 주인공이기도 하다. 그래도 어쩔 수 없이 스토리 모드를 하다보면 이 녀석들을 플레이하게 되는데 하는 동안 내내 답답하기 그지없었다. 그래도 쿠니오와 리키의 우정만큼은 최고였다.</span></p><p style="border: 0px;
