20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">조선일보(으잉? 무슨 일보? ㅇ.ㅇ)의 독자란에 친일파 모윤숙은 3․1 문화상을 타서는 안된다는 투고가 실렸다. </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">그 내용은 일제 말엽, 일본의 승리를 위한 강연을 했고 </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">군국주의에 앞장섰기 때문에 친일 문인이란 것이었다. </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">이 기사를 보고는 신문을 북 찢어 핸드 백에 넣고는 얼굴이 창백해졌다. </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">그 기사는 1941년 12월 27일, 부민관(태평로 소재 옛 국회의사당) 대강당에서 열린 결전부인대회에서 </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">여성도 전사다. 란 강연 내용을 싣고 있었다. </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">지금은 기억에도 없는 그의 작품 ｢동방의 여인들｣, ｢어린 날개｣ 등 일제 식민정책을 찬양한 작품들이 있었지만</span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">본인은 물론 주변에서도 까맣게 잊고 있었던 것을 들추어 내고 있었다.(조까. 우린 잊지 않았어)</span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">모윤숙은 일제 때 쓴 이러한 작품들을 부끄럽게 생각하고 일체 내비치지도 않았는데, </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">3․1 문화상 수상과 더불어 터져 나왔기 때문에 엄청난 수모를 느낀 듯했다.(그래도 부끄러운지는 아나보네요)</span><br style="line-height: /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">분한 일을 당하면 모윤숙은 입을 다문다. </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">일체 함구하고 있는 것을 보면 분함을 참지 못하는 것 같았다. </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px" /><span style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px">얼마나 마음이 아팠으랴, 며칠을 끙끙 앓고 난 뒤, </span><br style="line-height: 20.003999710083008px"
