자본주의’의 대명사처럼 매도돼 왔다. 운동권 출신이 대거 진출한 논술학원가에선 한때 모범답안이 ‘기승전 신자유주의’였다. 지금도 좌파진영은 빈곤, 자살, 이혼, 실업 등 만악의 근원으로 꼽는다. 저성과자 해고, 원격진료, 외고·자사고 등이 다 신자유주의란 식이다. 신자유주의는 정말 ‘악(惡)의 축’인가.</span><span 토대로, <span style="font-weight:700;">시장을 중시하고 국가의 인위적 개입을 배제한다. ‘작은 정부’와 감세, 법치, 개방화, 민영화, 규제완화, 노동유연화 등의 가치를 추구한다.</span> 하이에크, 미제스, 프리드먼 등의 이론을 기반으로 1980년대 병든 영국과 미국을 되살렸고, 중국을 일깨운 ‘번영의 소위 ‘MB물가’ ‘기름값이 묘하다’ 등 개입주의로 치달았다. 박근혜 정부도 애초에 경제민주화로 집권했다. 규제혁파도, 노동개혁도 흐지부지됐다. ‘안보 보수’만 왕성해 착시가 생겼을 뿐이다.</span><span style="color:#333333;font-family:'Malgun Gothic', '맑은 고딕', 'Apple SD Gothic Neo', ‘큰 정부’의 비효율을 초래한다. 정부 실패는 행정부에 국한된 얘기가 아니다. 국회의 입법독재야말로 ‘큰 정부’의 총본산이다. ‘만들면 법이 된다’는 착각 아래 입법권이 지대추구 수단이 돼가고 있다.</span><span style="font-family:'Malgun Gothic', '맑은 고딕', 'Apple SD Gothic Neo', '돋움',
