Hi there,Found the solution.Problem description:I had the same problem... when activating shadowplay the screen went black for a few seconds, than came back showing that shadowplay was active and after a few second went black again and never recover. I had to reset the computer to get it back and after the computer reboot shadowplay was disabled again.Explanation:In my case the problem was the audio configuration. Looks like Shadowplay is not able to activate correctly if you are using a 5.1 speaker configuration by using the 3 analogue outputs of your sound card.Solution:Disable the Shadowplay audio recording in your Shadowplay registry key settings. When you activate Shadowplay the audio recording is turned ON by default. This causes Shadowplay to crash when activated if you are using a 5.1 audio configuration. To solve the issue you need to set the default audio recording setting of Shadowplay to OFF. This can only be done by modifying the default audio recording setting using Windows Registry. To do so follow these steps...!!!BEFORE CHANGING ANY OF THE REGISTRY SETTINGS DO A BACKUP OF THE REGISTRY KEY BY EXPORTING IT!!!1. Click Start -> type REGEDIT in the search box and run it2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\ShadowPlay\NVSPCAPS3. On the right side of the window, right-click on AudioMode and click Modify4. The default setting is "01 00 00 00", you need to change it to "00 00 00 00"5. When done, close the REGEDIT windows and reboot your PCNow try to turn on Shadowplay in nVidia Experience and it should activate without crashing the PC.You will notice that the Audio setting in Shadowplay is turned off.Hope this solves your issues... however, your recordings will be with no audio...nVidia, please look into this bug and fix it. Thanks!
