line-height: 1.6;"><td style="font-family: 굴림, gulim, tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 1.6; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"><font>/사진제공=LG유플러스</font></td></tr></tbody></table># 4만원대 3G 스마트폰 요금제(44요금제·부가세 포함 월 4만8400원)를 쓰는 주부 김모씨. 월 제공받는 음성통화량은 200분. 고향에 계신 친정부모와 오래 통화하는 경우가 아니라면 이 제공량을 넘는 일이 거의 없다. 주로 집에 있는 데다 다른 가족이나 친구들과도 모바일메신저로 짧은 대화를 나누기 때문이다. 가끔 제공량을 다 써도 10분이 초과되면 1080원(1초당 음성통화료 1.8원)을 더 내는 정도다. 월 제공 데이터 500MB(메가바이트)는 거의 매달 100MB가 남는다. 인터넷 검색, 카카오톡 등 모바일메신저, 간단한 오락용 앱 외에 데이터를 거의 쓰지 않기 때문이다.<br><br>무제한음성통화 시대가 열렸다. 하지만 '무제한'이라는 말에 현혹돼 무턱대고 요금제를 바꿨다가는 오히려 낭패를 볼 수 있다. 무제한 요금제는 기본적으로 고가요금제이기 때문이다. 각 회사별로도 조금씩 다르기 때문에 무제한 요금제로 바꾸겠다면 통신사별로 꼼꼼히 따져봐야 보다 많은 혜택을 누릴 수 있다.<br><br><b style="font-weight: normal !important; font-size: 1em !important; line-height: 1.45em !important;">◇무제한 요금제는 '공짜' 아닌 '고가' 요금제</b><br><br>A씨의 경우라면 무제한 통화 요금제로 갈아타는 게 손해다. 자사·타사 가입자와 무제한 통화(무선 기준)를 할 수 있는 요금제는 SK텔레콤 7만5000원, KT 6만7000원, LG유플러스 6만9000원(부가세 별도)부터 있다. 지금 보다 한달 2만원 이상 더 내야한다는 얘기다. <br><br>또 LG유플러스의 경우에는 음성통화 무제한이 LTE요금제에만 있기 때문에 타 통신사의 2G·3G 고객이 LG유플러스 무제한 요금제에 가입하고 싶다면 LTE로 갈아타야만 한다. LTE폰으로 바꾸려면 지금 단말기의 남은 할부금액은 없는지, 약정(24개월)으로 요금할인을 받아왔는데 반환해야하는 돈은 얼마인지도 따져봐야 한다. <br><br>이통사 관계자는 "무제한 통화요금제는 기본적으로 통화량이 많은 고객을 위한 것으로, '무제한'이란 말을 '공짜'라는 말로 받아들여 혼동하면 안된다"며 "통화는 상대방이 있어야 하는 것이기 때문에 실제 바쁜 직장인들이나 일반인들이 무제한급으로 정말 통화를 많이 할 수 있는지도 따져봐야 한다"고 조언했다.<br><br>평소 6만원대 이상 고가요금제를 쓰는 이용자라면 무제한 통화요금제로 갈아타는 편이 나을 수 있다. 요금 차이가 크지 않기 때문이다. 보험영업을 하는 B씨의 경우 7만원대 요금제에 가입돼 있지만 한달 휴대폰 요금으로 10만원을 낸다. 영업상 통화할 일이 많아 기본 제공량을 훌쩍 넘겨 추가로 돈을 내고 있어서다. 반면 데이터는 늘 남는다. KT에는 그 중간 수준인 7만7000원 요금제가 있다. 데이터는 9GB로 경쟁사 대비 1GB 더 많이 주고, 무선 뿐 아니라 유선통화도 무제한할 수 있기 때문에 비슷한 수준의 요금제에서 조건이 좋다.<br><br>가족, 연인 등 같은 통신사를 쓰는 특정인과 주로 통화한다면 굳이 망내외·유무선 무제한을 고집할 필요가 없다. 같은 통신사 가입자끼리만 무제한 통화를 할 수 있는 요금은 월 3만~5만원 수준으로 그 절반이기 때문이다. 평소 자신의 망 내(자사 가입자끼리) 통화 비중이 어느정도인지 알아보려면 각 통신사 홈페이지나 모바일(앱) 고객센터에서 확인하면 된다. 복잡하다면 이통사 고객센터에 전화를 해 최근 몇달간 평균 몇 분 통화하고 이중 망 내 통화가 어느 정도인지를 물어보면 된다.</div></td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table></p>
