">일산 국립암센터</a>에 입원해 있다.<br><br>신씨는 골수이식을 받기 전까지 약화된 면역기능을 회복하기 위해 주기적으로 백혈구 수혈을 받아야 하는 상황. 그 동안 형제들의 도움으로 수혈을 받아왔지만 투병기간이 길어지며 형제들과 친인척들로는 수혈을 하기 역부족이었다. 헌혈시간도 길고 절차도 까다로워 헌혈봉사자를 찾기도 쉽지 않은 상황이었다.<br><br>다급한 마음에 신씨의 부인 천숙희(36)씨는 지푸라기라도 잡는 심정으로 남편이 복무했던 부대로 도움을 요청하기에 이르렀다.<br><br>편지의 담긴 사연은 신씨가 복무했던 58탄약대대(지금의 50탄약대대) 장병들에게 전해졌고, 장병들은 옛 전우를 돕기 위해 기꺼이 수혈에 동참했다.<br><br>자원자 중 혈액형이 A형인 장병은 총 52명. 그 중 병원 검사를 통해 적합판정을 받은 <a target="new" href="http://search.daum.net/search?w=tot&rtupcoll=NNS&q=%EA%B9%80%EC%9A%A9%EB%AF%BC&nil_profile=newskwd&nil_id=v20121002114407632" class="keyword" title=">검색하기" style="color: rgb(11, 9, 203);
