It was a one day of May. 2011, I was recruit who was just got into military, and that night, there was going to be march at night which everyone scares of, and everyone do not want to do. I remember that night we walked about 10 hours carrying soldiers gear which is horribly heavy. Thought assistant it is only about 20kg, everyone felt it is more than 25kg which can break our shoulder. We walked flatland at first, so I thought it is not that bad, even good because it was not even a sloping road, also I served in the army in rural area, the air was fresh enough to breathe and sound of insects was good to hear because I felt I am with the nature. After 2hours walking like that, I felt prodigious weigh from the shoulder, and blister was made and broke again and again in my sole, because the socks was wet while walking and wet socks sweep my foot continuously. Because those pains never ended, I could not even hear whispering of insets and could not enjoy the feeling nature. So I just walked unconsciously watching the step of person who was just in front of me. Usually I thought my stamina is really great and also, I had pride of it, but the pains from my shoulder transmit to my waist, thighs, and legs. I was exhausted because the more steps I walk, the more pain was killing my body, and it made me to want pass out. A little while later, after 10 minutes break we started to walk up and down again the road which is called “snake road”. This road is called by “Snake road” not because there were many snake but because the road was formed like snake shape. After listening this story, I forgot what I thought at first that I do not need any help from other people and just wanted to fall with a thud. Because of a steep slope and a slippery road, I fell and slipped more than twenty times. That time one of my military mates raised me up and help my body. He encouraged me saying joke which was “hey? Don’t you want to die? Because I do” while helping my body. I knew his soldier gear was also heavy but he kept cheer me up. That time, I realized all the people cannot live there like all alone, and I was absolutely wrong that thinking I can do everything all by myself. Finally, we reached our destination. While watching bruise in my shoulder and blister in my sole, I sensed of accomplishment. But the more important lesson than accomplishment I got is when all the people depend on each other, and help each other, life is more happy and pleasant.
