style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">마당에 잔디가 깔려있고 마당 한복판엔 작은 연못이 있었고, <span style="line-height:1.5;">그 연못을 가로지를수 있는 디딤돌들이 있어 그 디딤돌을 딛고 연못을 가로질러 </span><span style="line-height:1.5;">화장실에 갈 수 있고 style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"> </font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">외지인인 우리는 그 당시엔 그 집에 대해서 몰랐으니까요. 암튼 그렇게 아름다운 집이었습니다.</font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">대문앞은 작은 개울이 흐르고 개울사이에 좌측으로 약 3미터 정도 떨어진 곳은 폐가였습니다.</font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">그리고 집에 오려면 반드시 지나야하는 아주 큰 고목이 있는데 저는 그걸 사당나무로 보진 않습니다. 왜냐면 더운 여름 날이면 마을 사람들이 그 밑에 평상을 깔고 장기도 두고 막걸리도 마시던 곳이라서 낮에는 무섭지 않은데 밤만 되면 어찌나 을씨년스러운지...</font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"> </font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">우리 자취방은 안에 화장실이 없기 때문에 바깥 화장실을 써야 하는데 <span style="line-height:1.5;">연못을 가로질러 화장실을 가야 합니다.</span></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">화장실은 초등학교 화장실(남평초등학교)과 맞붙어 있었고, <span style="line-height:1.5;">집을 둘러싼 벽은 초등학교 벽과 맞닿아 있었습니다.</span></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"> </font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">우리 자취방 왼쪽으로는 초등학교 안에있는 소나무 숲 중앙의 늪지가 있었습니다.</font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">제가 그걸 9년이 지난 지금도 기억하고 있는건 아침이 되면 <span style="line-height:1.5;">자취방의 작은 창문으로 햇살이 비춰오기 때문입니다.</span></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">아침에 동쪽에서 해가 뜨면 햇살이 그 늪지의 표면에 반사되어 자취방으로 들어오기 때문에 <span style="line-height:1.5;">아침이면 작은 창문을 통해 바깥을 보기가 상당히 어려워서 아직도 기억하고 있나 봅니다.</span></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"> </font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2">제가 그 자취방이 마음에 들어던 건 방에 굉장히 큰 창문이 책상 우측으로 나 있어서 <span style="line-height:1.5;">창문을 열면 소나무가지 사이에 살짝 가린 달이 너무 운치 있어 그 자취방에 들어가게 되었습니다.</span></font></div> <div style="text-align:justify;"><font size="2"><br></font></div> <div
