    I have been watching TV from an early age.
    However, I didn't spend too much time on it.
    I only watched the most famous TV shows because I didn't want to be a couch potato.
    In my early age I usually watched toddler programmes or cartoons.
    Growing up I viewed programmes relating to animal, knowledge, education, travelling and also some soap operas and variety shows.
    For me, I particularly like programmes that deals with wide range of themes such as the National Geographic channel. It makes me think a lot about the subject and so the idea remains for long afterwards.
    There are few television drama series that I watch these days and they are Dexter, Friends, and The Walking Dead. My favourite on the list is Dexter. It is truly a thrilling drama and so I was sad when it ended recently.
    Currently I am living in a school dormitory where there is no TV and so I download them from the internet.

    ‘Chance favours the prepared mind’
    What really intrigued me was the ‘product design and process’ topic in the production management course so I did some research and came across this Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) situated in Indonesia. ITB provides industrial design course which I found out highly correlates with my interest field of study and this opportunity I believe will help me to step ahead. In addition, I am also eager to learn about how countries with different industrial environment teach and learn about the subject.


    ‘Genius kneels in front of those who strive’
    Didacticism such as this, work as my motto whenever I try to accomplish something. I can picture myself complete every time I work on my weak spots so ‘consistency’ is a virtue I consider very important. I realized, to maximise my chances of learning at ITB, the need to improve my English skills so currently I am keeping myself busy with OPIC and my English pen pal friends. I want to be able to study the course material with the fellow ITB students on the whole and form a discussion group where we can interact and share ideas and knowledge. Through the interaction, I plan to become a better industrial engineer.

    It's okay, I asked you the question so that we could become better friends to be able to talk about such things together rather than to hear a response. I must have asked you in the wrong way. I don't think you are bad at all because I understand how hard it is to tell someone about the bad things that happened in life. I can tell you about the happy times of my life too. In terms of the bad times I had, well... I do have some which I'm scared to tell you or otherwise but I would rather tell you about the good things that happened.
